Creative Studio overview
Creative Studio generates Custom Product Page (CPP) screenshot concepts from your app context and keyword intent, pushes new CPPs to App Store Connect, and tracks CPP status for each app. Use it when you want to test a new visual treatment for a search theme and route paid traffic to a page tuned to that intent.
Before you start
- App Store Connect integration connected. CPPs are created and published in App Store Connect, so the ASC key must be active for publish steps to work. See Connect App Store Connect.
- At least one campaign with an ad group. The builder pulls intent context from ad-group keywords, so a live campaign structure is required to ground the concepts.
- Permissions. Viewing Creative Studio requires Viewer role or higher. Generating variants requires Admin or Editor role. Publishing to ASC and managing review submissions additionally requires Admin or Editor role.
What Creative Studio does today
Creative Studio ships two tabs: Builder and Overview.
Builder walks through three steps. First, pick a campaign, ad group, and country to set the intent context from the ad group's keywords. Second, generate concept hypotheses for that intent. Concepts stream in tier by tier while you read them, and you pick one to take forward. Third, generate iPhone and iPad variations from the selected hypothesis, compare them against the original screenshots, and publish the chosen set as a new CPP.
Overview lists the Custom Product Pages for each app in your organization. You can see the current state of each page in App Store Connect, toggle the public Product Page URL on or off, and submit a draft CPP version for Apple review. From Overview you can also attach a published CPP to an Apple Ads ad group, which creates or reuses an Apple Ads creative and places an ad on the selected ad group.
What to expect
Generation runs in the background and shows progress per device as it completes. A publish action creates a new hidden CPP in App Store Connect. Making the CPP publicly visible, submitting it for review, and linking it to an Apple Ads ad group are each separate deliberate actions — nothing is pushed to customers until you choose to push it.
